Health is our truth

Health is our truth. When I was a child, I never heard the word cancer. I’m sure there must have been some someplace but I knew of none in the farm community in which I lived while I was growing up as a child. We grew our own “organic” foods, our own nut trees, our own berry bushes, fruit trees, we had our own chickens, pigs, cows, and horses, and we breathed plenty of fresh air as we worked and played. As I look back at my life, I can truly see how perfectly ideal and healthy it was. I guess I never thought about it much as a child because I was very happy and excited about life as I was growing up on our familiar land, reading copiously, and being loved by my large and extended family. I always had my goal of being a “Nurse” that I was consciously working towards, so in my mind I knew where I was going, how to get there, and why I wanted to go there.

I lived in a house of love, truth, and equality which was very exciting to me, because these were our ground rules in our interaction and behavior. Even in my very early childhood I recognized that the love within our family was creating a happy and balanced life for all of us. Because I had severe rheumatic fever as a very young child and into my sixteenth year, I learned that the more I exercised the less pain I had, so I literally pushed myself into movement to keep stride with my older sister as we worked on the farm. I remember being told that I should not be forcing myself to do farm chores because of my “sick” heart, which is normal with severe rheumatic fever, but I could not sit in a chair unless I could literally not move my body out of the chair. The more I worked, the better I felt except for the “flare-ups,” which created their own crises in my life and made me sit in the chair longer than I wanted, but I learned to read early in my life which helped me to pass the time when my pain was severe. I always refused to focus on the pain, therefore physical activity and reading became my way of coping with pain.

My father brought me a new box of books every Friday from our local library and if I was physically inactive, I was very intellectually active as I devoured every book. When I was just eleven or twelve I remember reading “Gone With the Wind” three times before I would give it up to go back to the library. All of my reading made me a very fast reader even before I became a teenager and my love of reading serves me to this day in my life. Today I can write just about as fast as I could read as a child, which has been an absolute gift in my life, although I must admit that I have probably slowed down a few degrees in my present time of life. Because I knew by the time I was two years old that it was my intention to be a nurse, I had a reading style that did not include fairy tales or romances and that style has stayed with me until this moment in my life.

When I was in my early teens I began to think about the nursing school that I wanted to attend. Every nursing school of my day seemed to be run by some religious organization. I was not religious and I could never imagine myself as being religious because I had already fallen in love with philosophy. Religion did not bother me, but I did find it curious at the time, when I became conscious of the intense hold that religion had on people’s minds. Later I began to see how it all worked when I truly realized that nursing schools provided much of the labor in hospitals and that religion has always wanted to “care for the sick and disabled.”. Many hospitals were at that time connected to some religious organization and as I became entrenched in learning to be a registered nurse I began to see the reason that all of these relationships had evolved. I still find wisdom in the relationship even though many nursing schools are no longer organized in this manner. I do treasure the education that I had at the hands of the Daughters of Charity, because it was very intellectual, organized, and supportive which all student nurses need to feel as they experience this dramatic change in their lives.

After I graduated from nursing school, I moved to Washington, D.C. and within a year I moved to Arlington, VA. and commuted the few miles. I have always been interested in research. I thought that if we were intending to find new drugs, new ways to do old things, and to help heal the sick, we needed to think outside of the box, therefore in all of my days in nursing this was and is my primary goal, how can we do “it” better and allow everyone to live a healthy life? To this day as I write this I continue to live with this goal, which is why I now look at disease with a focus on prevention. We are energy beings first and we are matter second. I can easily heal most energy diseases, simply because I understand energy and I can heal many other diseases simply because of my knowledge and relationship with our nervous system and the way that disease works in our body.

We have not been taught how to use our energy wisely, how to stay healthy, or how to expand our energy into healing energy. It is our “energy” that we make “sick” that gives us disease. We do not have to be sick as human beings once we can truly understand that as humans we are both energy and matter as a living human being. As a young nurse and after I left DC General Hospital, I went to work in Washington, D.C. for Wallace Yater, M.D. who I dearly loved and who unknowingly to him helped me to see the absolute truth of energy in healing. I watched Wallace Yater heal people by his very presence, which many people did not understand, but they did not understand how other people revered his energy. We must learn how to live in harmony with our energy and the energy of Nature to keep ourselves well as energy beings. Years ago when we were living more fully in Nature, we didn’t know much about ourselves and therefore many people did not maintain their health and their happiness in the same way that we must do today, because they were ignorant of the energy relationship between themselves and their surrounding energy, and the air, foods, and water that gave us our energy.

As our supporting energies reached out to develop interactive energy, we have learned and we have grown. Once we understand that we are energy beings, we will clearly understand that our energy diseases can be healed in the same way that cancer can be healed, which is totally an energy disease. The secret to our energy and matter is learning to live in harmony and balance. Once we can fully grasp that we are energy and we are matter, we begin to realize that both our energy and our matter are controlled by our thinking mind. Today as our cities build up around us and we are constantly exposed to pollution, it becomes more and more important that we learn the truth of love and health, because we are totally responsible for our own health and happiness. No one else walks in our shoes.

Truth and Our Dual Soul

Truth is a very important Ethical Value that affects our personal ability to live any and all of the other Ethical Values in our daily lives. If we do not live truth in our physical lives, we are basically living from our fear energy, which interferes with our growth and change, and it becomes a vicious cycle that leads us into all forms of lying, stealing, and cheating, particularly in the health of our physical body and energy mind. When we look at the Ethical Values, we can easily see that love, truth, and equality are the three major ethical values and as such are the first three ethical values that we must learn to live. If we are living our love, then living our truth and equality becomes an easy and simple way of living our life to help us expand our thinking mind into our loving emotional energy. If we are not living our love, we cannot be living our truth or our equality as a way of life, which essentially means that we are living fear as our energy of life.

Once we are living the trinity of love, truth, and equality our life can and will take on a different energy, which means we will begin to live a different energy in each and every aspect of our daily physical life. If we are not living our love, then we simply cannot learn the lessons of truth and equality without a dramatic change in our energy patterns. These three ethical values are closely related to each other and therefore dependent one upon the other, which always acts to reflect the energy that we are living into our physical life. This helps us to understand why love has been the most revered emotion of the human species, and it also shows us the reality that to understand our internal energy as a human species we must truly live our love, which is not sex. If we truly lived our love there would be no copying, cheating, stealing, or war at any level of our physical reality for us to worry about. Any negative behaviors or negative emotions are a form of internal war within us, which we will then reflect into every aspect of our human reality.

If we do not live our truth at all times, we do not have a consciousness of our Spirit Energy, which is the motivating force for our conscious thinking mind and loving emotions at all times in our physical life. This helps us to understand that when we do not live our love, truth, and equality, we are not creating the level of our physical life that we might think that we are creating. In effect, we are the last people to identify ourselves as being dishonest, fearful, and unequal, because seeing the truth of ourselves when we are not living our love, truth, and equality is literally next to impossible, because we are lying to ourselves as we live our fear, untruth, and inequality. This is why it is so important for us to “know thyself” before we attempt to learn Spiritual Philosophy, which means that we must be living our love and our truth as the first two of the Ethical Values and we must be internally inspired to change how we think, act, and feel in relationship to truth, if we have the intention of being a Spiritual Being living a Spiritual Life. We must live the Ethical Values to be Spiritual Human Beings.

As we look at the world today, most people would instantly say that they are living truth. There is a big difference between the truth within our thinking mind and the truth of our human behavior that is being reflected from our Dual Soul growth. As human beings we are designed from a pure Nature, which means that our air, foods, and water are designed to be pure, and it is us that contaminates them to make ourselves sick. Do you breathe only fresh air, eat only organic foods, and drink only pure spring water or well water? If you do none of these exercises, you are risking your health and your life, because you are designed as a human product of a pure Earth and we are not living the truth of our human design. Nature is our eternal truth as a human being. Cancer and other diseases are the decay of our human cellular body and its normal cellular function. Once we understand that our air, foods, and water are frequently the source of our internal diseases, we can begin to understand that we are not “force fed” and that we have the freedom of choice about how we live, what we think, what we do, and the health of our human body.

The Gift of Healing, Health, and our Ethical Values

I have spent most of my life as an RN with the exception of the first 18 years, when I was studying at my own pace and at different levels.  I have always studied the human body but I have also studied the human mind, emotions, and senses.  These are the most important parts of us as human beings because they are the source of our energy, and they make up a large portion of our energy fields that allow us to live in and use our physical body.  One of the gifts that I have been given is seeing and speaking to the energy of our human body.  I do believe that my "gift of energy" came from my intense illness with rheumatic fever as an infant and young child, and that continued as part of my life after my illness subsided after the age of 16.  Being conscious of energy is really not a big deal, but it has helped me dramatically in my physical life and it is this internal energy that has given me the gift of healing.  It is from this internal energy that I am guided to write my books and to teach my classes.  Being in touch with our own internal energy is something that each and every one of us will eventually grow into.  Many people are in touch with different levels of energy.  We are physical beings, which means that we live from our physical energy first.  We are also sensory beings, which supports us with our physical energy.  Internally we are a Dual Soul and Spirit Energy that functions and expands from the multiple senses that are designed as a function of our human body.  Living with a consciousness of our energy foundation is a wonderful situation, which helps me to do things at times that other people cannot do.  It is this gift of energy that lives within our human body that has allowed me to help other people heal their "energy" that is out of balance.  As a nurse, I was taught many things, but I was not taught energy healing in nursing school.  We focused strictly on the physical reality, which is also essential.  Many people today are dying of many diseases that are truly "sinful" from the standpoint of medicine, and it is their lack of understanding energy.  During my years in nursing school, I was shocked by this, but during my earlier years of disease I was more shocked.  Today as I work with patients doing energy healing, I am more than pleased to see how quickly people heal and get on with their lives.  Healing to me is a primary Ethical Value and it always feels very good to see a person live when they have been told that they are facing death in a matter of months.  More later.   Kathy

Living our destructive energy.

Fear is our most intense destructive energy.  When we think about fear we may think that our fear exists only about our eternal life and not the internal life that we are living.  The average human being today lives with some element of fear whether or not they recognize that fear.  Most of all, we have a fear of disease and death. Our fear of relationships is a very dramatic fear, which we do not usually fully recognize or accept.  Many people have a fear of being alone.  If we have a fear of relationships and a fear of being alone existing within our thinking mind at the same time, we will find ourselves mired in confusion which can be the basis of depression, psychosis, paranoia, and many eating disorders.

It is very important that we know who we are.  Very few of us understand ourselves as energy beings that live multiple physical lives as we gradually learn our eternal lessons of life.  This is why each and everyone of us should stop and silently ask ourselves, "who am I?"  We are never the true image of another person, whether that person is our spouse, a parent, a friend, or simply someone that we admire such as a "movie star."  Even movie stars have their mental and emotional challenges in life, just exactly as all humans do as they grow and change through their multiple physical lives.

Our most intense problem is that we do not recognize or accept ourselves as an eternal energy being that is living in different physical lives as a means of growth and change.  Once scientists get over their "one life belief" we will be capable of tracking our multiple lives to scientifically know who we were in a past life.  If we choose not to track our lives through science, we can remember our past lives and look very carefully at each and every one of them to see what we have learned and what we have to learn in our new lives.  If we are not afraid to think about ourselves as eternal beings, we will recognize how our lessons jump up in front of our face to show us who we are in each and every life that we live.  In addition to our physical energy, we have a Dual Soul and Spirit Energy that will frequently remind us of what we must learn and why we must learn it.  Our energy never dies but it does change its energetic and physical form. But if we see ourselves as strictly physical beings that live only one physical life to experience death, then we cannot become conscious of what we are learning every day that we live as a human being.

As a nurse that has worked for 50 years of my life, I clearly understand that we are energy people as well as physical people.  As a nurse that has been involved in codes and death in my job, I have seen the Spirit Energy of many people rise above their dead body and move like a rocket energy as the Soul and Spirit leaves for a new home in a new body.  Many times these energies have talked to me, telling me their goals in their new physical lives.  This is why I have such a strong belief in eternal life.  As energy beings we live eternal lives in which we create a new physical body for each new life.  We are energy beings first, that must always in every life support our energy with the water, air, and foods of Nature.  If we do not support our human physical body with Nature's air, foods, and water we cannot support our evolving mind, emotions, and senses with their evolving energy, which is the core reason of all disease in the human body.

Our Spirit Energy puts on a new "outfit of garments" as a new body and goes forth to begin a new level of learning at our time of death.  This is the definition of us as eternal human beings.  When we are living with a belief in living only one life, we are living a destructive energy that takes the support of our past life energy away from us in our evolving energy, which means that we must start all over again in our next lifetime, including learning the power of healthy eating, breathing Nature's pure air, and drinking pure water.  This is the secret of health as our energy source.

Once we begin to accept ourselves as energy beings, which is how we live our physical lives, we begin to feel differently about who we are, the multiple lives that we must live to grow and change into Spiritual Beings while living on Earth, and we see the beauty of our human design.  Our disease potential as human beings has become overwhelming and the sooner that we learn the truth of ourselves as energy beings first, the longer we will choose to live as physical beings and consciously support our Dual Soul growth.  Our Nervous System is the essence of our eternal design as an energy being and once we understand our Nervous System we will be capable of healing all diseases.  I have always understood the energy of us and our Nervous System, which is why I can heal diseases that the medical profession cannot heal.  We are at all times energy beings living in physical matter, which is an important issue for us to understand, if we want to be healthy and live a long physical life.

Our Journey to Love

All of my life I have talked to people who have and are living with the belief that "sex is love."  Sex is a physical act and love is an emotion, which makes them two separate energy fields.  It is always wonderfual if our sex elicits our love, but many times it does not, therefore many people live their entire lives without "feeling" the emotions of love, which means they might search for love in all of the wrong places.  Generally speaking we can live with an absolute unawareness of the emotions of love.  Love is an eternal design of our human energy as an accummulation of the energies of our thinking mind, loving emotions, and Spirit Senses, which makes up our one true energy design as the structure of our Dual Soul Energy and Spirit Consciousness Energy as our Spirit Energy.

Love as one of the structures of our Dual Soul Energy is always a part of our human design, but it must be learned as an emotion by our thinking mind before we can live the energy of love in our everyday life.  When we are born without the conscious awareness of our energy of love, we will have an intense focus on physical sex as the soul seeks to learn the emotions that are part of our human design of love.  Once we can accept that sex is not the true emotion of love, we begin to slowly open our thinking mind to an understanding of our loving emotions as an equal partner in our Dual Soul Energy as the thinking mind and loving emotions, which expands our eternal feelings of love.

Our thinking mind and loving emotions must and do exist without the necessity of "physical sex."  Physical sex adds to the sharing of our physical lives, but it is primarily designed as a method of procreation of new life for adults.  Once we can understand that sex is only one method of expanding our loving emotions, we begin to look at the rest of our physical lives to see how we add to the design of our loving emotions.  Education has added greatly to expanding this internal balance.  We can be highly emotional and productive people and have no sex as part of our physical lives.  It is fairly common to channel our physical energies into thinking rather than sex, which is probably the easiest way to understand ourselves.  Sex is our design of procreation as a physical method of sustaining our eternal life, which should be abstained from as an activity in our youth, because to parent children we must live our personal responsibility, which we will not yet have grown into as a mind and emotions.

Thinking is our internal design of understanding self, Nature, and the Universe as we sustain our eternal life through our external sexual design.  When we have the belief that one is better than the other, or that sex and thinking are not related, we are truly living the confusion of our thinking mind and our "one life" belief.  The human body is balanced as an organ energy, and it is balanced as thinking and emotions.  It is our lack of internal balance that enhances our crime factor as human beings.  Once we learn to understand the emotions of love, we can move forward with understanding ourselves, the world that we live in, and the eternal energy of time that we have created for ourselves.  As we live our physical lives and we interact in our multiple relationships, we grow as a Dual Soul and we expand ourselves into our Spirit Consciousness as a human mind.

Our Dual Soul is designed as a thinking mind and loving emotions, which helps us understand the pattern of our internal evolution.  This helps us to understand how we grow as we live the energy of our physical, emotional, and intellectual lives.  If we compare ourselves to science and how we create our ability to understand anything in science, we can see that we grow individually just as any field of knowledge grows within its scientific experiments.  If we refuse to grow and change, then we are limiting our future "fields of energy" that makes us human.

We have been designed with specific "fields of Soul and Spirit Energy" to enhance and to guide our physical, emotional, intellectual, and sensory growth.  These fields of eternal energy were named the Ethical Values thousands of years ago as man began to look at himself and attempt to understand "who he was" in relationship to Nature, Earth, and the Universe.  When we can only see ourselves as physical beings, we do not recognize the true beauty of our physical human energy design that is consciously and unconsciously living and growing within its own eternal energy design.  We are always living as thinking energy beings first, emotional beings second, sensory beings third, and physical beings fourth.  As energy beings we never die, but we do change the energy form of our physical design as we learn and grow.  The understanding of ourselves is always governed by how we use our thinking mind in either an external or internal concept of self, life, and growth.

Our Soul and Spirit energies are eternal, our physical body is finite as matter, but it is eternal as a memory of our Soul and Spirit Energy design.

Keeping everyone honest (My "war stories")

I call my early years in Nursing my "war stories" period because nothing was easy, but today I feel like writing one of my old war stories just to show how evolution truly works in the work place.  Many years ago I went to work in our local hospital as the Evening Nursing Supervisor covering the entire hospital. One night we were overcrowded and I was looking for a space to put an extra bed.  Our ER was bursting at the seams and it was apparent that we were going to need a few beds someplace even if we did not know where we were going to find these beds.  I walked into a three-bed ward with the brilliant idea of turning the ward from a three-bed to a five-bed ward for the night.  The room was large enough so I was pretty sure it would work.  I walked into the ward and started poking around to see how I could rearrange things. In the far corner of the room was an old screen door.  I had a flashlight in my pocket so I whipped it out and began to examine the door.  My intention was to unlock the door and to make sure there was a clear path if the door needed to be used as a fire door.  Of course in that hospital I always knew that I had to be responsible for surprises and smart enough to find a cure pretty quickly.  The door was no exception.  Undoubtly that door had not been opened in twenty-thirty years, even if it was a "fire escape door."  It was rusted so intensely that the rust had pretty much soddered the lock together permanently, which meant we had to saw a few things apart to open the door.

I called the night watchman to come help me and to bring his tools.  We worked for at least an hour before we could undo the weathering effects on that lock and break the rust free to open the door.  A couple of hours later we had rearranged the room, moved in two new beds and night stands, and the two new patients arrived from the ER.  This was the beginning of my clean-up campaign for that hospital which lasted for several more years.  Sometimes when I look back at the health care conditions that existed in those days I am totally appalled, and most of all, the more I searched the more I found, which did not make me the fair-haired child of the moment in a hospital that liked its status quo.  That was the beginning of surprises for the entire hospital because I was determined to see it cleaned up, safe, and functional no matter how many cages I had to rattle.  Shortly before this incident, there was a hospital fire in Ohio, I think it was, and many people died.  I wasn't ready for a repeat performance of that horror, so I began to survey the entire building and I was making my plans.  It was easy to see that some people were making lots of money and not much if any money was going towards upkeep and fire prevention. Most of my nurses were in favor of my "getting involved in change," but others were worried about their jobs and did not want to "rock" the boat.  So I always knew that I would accept total responsibility for everything that I did, which I did, and mostly I worked alone in my silent investigation with a camera and cultures.

The Reality: Body, Mind and Spirit

Discovering who we are has been the challenge of our life that we have been working with from the very beginning of our creation. We are getting closer now to understanding ourselves from a scientific basis than we have ever been before. Unfortunately along the path of science we began to separate and externalize our concept of reality. As we followed this separate and external course of thought we began to drop out of our memory many important perceptions of ourself that are vital to our growth. Now as we face the transition of our mind and emotions it is important for us to get in touch with that part of our memory that has been lost.

Internally we feel the need to find that part of ourself that we are missing. Internally we are being motivated by our soul and inspired by our spirit to fill the void (the something-is-missing syndrome. Our last 65 years have been devoted to our lesson of equality for our soul. Equality is both an internal and an external issue that we work with consistently, whether or not we recognize what we are doing. During these past 65 years change has been the name of the game for us as human beings, for society, for our beliefs, and for our behavior.

For a number of years, especially during the past 20 years, the new age movement (metaphor for personal growth) has been sweeping the country. I frequently hear people talk about body, mind and spirit but in the next sentence they will define for me an external perception of their understanding. People struggle over the concept of consciousness, spirit, and soul without being able to identify what they mean. Today I want to show you what our body, mind and spirit is, how we have created it, how we use it, and the changes that we are making in this transition period.

We are spiritual beings of energy and we are trying to learn how to be human. Human is an acronym for Higher Universal Mana or spirit consciousness. We are the seeds of the Creator (God) that are learning to grow and expand into a mature spirit consciousness. We are infant spirit beings growing into mature spirit beings and we are using our physical body to live our physical experiences and learn the lessons we need. We have been taught that we are humans learning to be spirit. Knowing that we have within us the energy of spirit, the wisdom of our soul, and the ability to change our physical lives gives us back our sense of responsibility for living and being.

We are always the energy of our spirit that we filter down into invisible energy as our soul, and visible energy as our physical body. We use our physical body as a tool for our soul which is a reflection of our spirit energy that is focused internally and externally into our mentality and emotions. In our physical nature we use our external mentality and emotions. In our divine nature we use our internal mentality and emotions. Our physical nature is our negative componenthhwich grounds us to Earth. Our divine nature is our positive component, which reflects our spirit consciousness.

We Are Energy Beings First

Once we begin to understand that we are energy beings first, and physical beings second, we will be more conscious of our air, foods, and water which are designed to support the energy of our human body with the chemicals it needs.  If we did not have "energy" we would not be alive.  Therefore when we support our energy with the chemicals that it needs to stay healthy, we are supporting our Spirit, Soul, and human body in health and happiness.  Our body is a marvelous design and it will take our "beating" for many years before it collapses.  We must begin to look at our body as a chemical energy design.  As a chemical energy design our body needs the chemicals that are found in the air, foods, and water to support its human chemical design.  It is important to keep our energy design healthy because we need to live a healthy and productive life, and when we die we need for our human design to be intact so that we can come back into a new life in a healthy state.

Many people do not believe that we live more than one life, but as "energy beings" we live eternal lives.  Energy never dies but it does change form (Albert Einstein).  We can and should believe this finding of Einstein's because he is the first scientist that I know of that has proven that we live eternal life as an energy being.  Bruce Lipton is also in the process of showing us the beauty and eternity of our chemical cellular self as human beings.  We must at this time in our lives look very seriously at the "one life belief" syndrome that we have and seem to cherish.  We basically live eternal lives as an energy being and we create new physical matter with the help of new parents that gives us an opportunity to continue with our growth process as a Soul and Spirit Energy.   When we learn to look at our body with a new energy concept, we will cherish every life that we have lived, which will increase our past life memory and allow us to live the eternal truth of who we are, which will allow us to shed our fears of life and living.

I have lived many lives before I began living this one and I vividly remember many of my past lives as a Nurse that relate to the life that I am living now, and I remember many lives when I was not a nurse.  My memory came with me at my time of birth (captured in the energy cells of my consciousness) and I spent my childhood and since vividly engrossed in comparing my past life memories with my current observations.  I have been teaching Spiritual Philosophy since 1984, and I have always known that I am teaching from past life memory.  Spiritual Philosophy is our secret to health, happiness, and a long life of living our Ethical Values.   As I have been teaching through these years, I have many memories that come up from my past lives as a Philosopher.  These lives feed my memory of Philosophy, which is a joy to feel, and to live as an ancient memory.  Philosophy makes more sense to me every day that I live and grow.  As I watch television I can easily see that we as a human species could benefit immensely from learning and living Spiritual Philosophy, which could help us with our understanding of life and truth.

As an RN I spent many years in hospitals and in HLA and DNA Research.  To me this research clearly showed that we live more than one life.  The Scientists that I was working with could not acknowledge this phenomena when I challenged them with the concept, but they also did not say that I was wrong.  I always faced the "we don't know" syndrome, which was perfectly normal.  Now I feel like Bruce Lipton is getting closer to the reality of proving that we do live more than one physical life as human beings.  It makes sense because how could we ever grow and learn everything that we do learn in one short physical life time?  The energy of our body is a reflection of our chemical design as a Spirit Consciousness.

I teach Spiritual Philosophy from my ancient memory, which I enjoy immensely.  Nothing else has ever made sense to me in this lifetime except relating us to our ancient memory, which is the true source of health within us as energy beings.  As I teach this ancient Philosophy, I begin to see precisely how we have been designed as energy beings and how all of the Universal Energy works together to create Earth, other planets, and our Universe.  Energy can answer all of the unanswered questions about who we are once we can understand the ancient philosophy that we have always struggled with.  As humans we are getting closer and closer to opening our thinking mind to our ancient memories, which is what Spiritual Philosophy is all about.

Read my books and join us in my classes to learn a new version of yourself as an energy being.

Health Care is a Personal Responsibility

As I listen to the news and I hear all of the information about health care, I shake in my shoes.  Our health care is a very personal thing that we must do and consciously plan for ourselves.  When we think about Doctors and Insurance as our saviors in life, we are destroying our own motivation to live as a functional human being.  Who in the world would ever want to make another person responsible for their health care?  Physicians are about "disease care" not health care.  We are in charge of our health and it is about time that each and every human being accepts that personal responsibility.  Each and everyone of us thinks, eats, drink, and breathes as we choose, which means we are totally responsible for our "health care."

Our diseases are dramatically linked  to the state of our thinking which controls our eating, drinking, and breathing.  Many years ago we didn't have all of the commercial products that we have today, which are what is giving us diseases.  We lived an "organic life" close to Nature until 1948, and we usually died of old age.  In 1948 the government taught the farmers how to put chemicals on our land to grow crops.  Now cancer is raging through our society and it has no sympathy for age.  We continue to eat, drink, and breathe as we did and must to live, but we are not getting the same quality of air, food, and water that we need to keep our body healthy. Our land has become polluted and we must pay more attention to our eating, drinking, and breathing to stay healthy.  This is our major problem with living a healthy and happy life into the triple digits -  we do not realize that we are being poisoned by what we eat, drink, and breathe.

No one can change our thinking but us.  When we realize that we must be very conscious now of everything that we put in our mouth, what we breathe, what we drink, and that we are capable of restoring our health and healing ourselves, we will enjoy our life more.  I have been called many names because I eat only organic foods and I drink only imported spring water in glass bottles.  (My house uses well water, not city water, so I also use and monitor the well water which so far remains very good.) I use no sprays in my car, bathrooms, or in other places in my home.  I open my windows and doors on a daily basis and let the fresh air blow through my house.  If you are living in a place where there is no fresh air, it may be time to consider moving.  Our health is always our personal responsibility.  We cannot depend upon anyone else to "save" us.  Health Care Reform is not going to save us, and in reality Health Care cannot be reformed unless we as a "people" change our dependent personal behaviors.  Health is our personal responsibility and it does not and cannot be an action of the medical community, which is focused on disease and therefore most doctors know very little about health.  We can prevent disease and live beautifully into a healthy and happy old age, by taking care of our own body, mind, and Spirit Energy.  Knowing ourselves as an eternal Spirit Consciousness is essential to accepting that we live as Eternal Energy Beings.

What is a healthy life???????

What is a healthy life????  If each and every human alive would ask themselves this question, perhaps they would find behaviors, thoughts, and beliefs in their own life that could be changed.  I have worked with patients my entire life as an RN and some of the things that I have seen are funny, some are very sad, and most of the behaviors that I have seen reflect into my mind the "lack of knowledge" about who we are as a human being.   We all live the life of "being a patient" as well as caring for patients and today as I watch people, I know that most people do not understand that we must eat pure organically grown food, drink pure water, and breathe fresh air to keep our internal cells happy and healthy.  Today we live in a nation that is fixated with "health" care.  This word "health" is within itself is a misnomer.  We are a nation that is fixated with "disease" care.  We can change ourselves and live as healthy human beings.  Nothing that is being done through legislation and through the President's intervention is about "health."  Everything is about disease care in our Society and we are "breaking the bank" with our disease system.

When we are willing to look at how we create disease and heal that disease situation, the "health care" will take care of itself.  I have had a life-long fascination with a man, "John Newport Langley."   Dr. Langley was a researcher of the nervous system back in the 1800's.  Our health care system should begin to look at Dr. Langley's work and realize that our diseases can probably be prevented and cured if we could keep our nervous system open and flowing smoothly.  This approach can heal cancer and every other "energy" disease that I can find.  Many years ago when I was a child and very ill with rheumatic fever, I created a therapy called "Neural Depolarization" which I have since used to heal every form of disease that I have ever seen.  This is an energy therapy and since most people do not accept that we are energy, it is normal that they do not see that all diseases are basically diseases of the nervous system which are created as we contaminate ourself with our air, water, and foods.  But when we want to be healed, we can change and try something new, eat, drink, and breathe in a healthy manner.  Sometimes it makes me very sad to see people die when they do not need to die and to suffer with pain when they do not need to have pain.  We can change and we can be healthy and happy human beings.

Health and consciousness is what I teach. Our nerves are the source of our energy as consciousness. We do create our own energy fields by how we think and how we live. My next class is March 27-28, the 2nd class of 2010 focused on The Joy of Health.

Energy/Human Energy

Sometimes I realize that people may not understand that we are energy beings and as energy beings we are eternal.  Our energy never dies, despite the fact that our human physical body dies.  This means that we have been creating new lives for ourselves since the beginning of life on Earth (and before) by using the energy of our original design.  Our human energy is phenomenal, and when we do not realize that we are energy beings first and physical beings second, we can be terribly self-abusive with negative and inappropriate behavior. When we destroy our human design with chemicals, we can bring this destruction back into our next life.  I learned that I was energy first as a very sick child.  It has been a valuable lesson for me and it is what motivated me to become an RN with an intense interest in research.  I spent many years of my life involved in research and in the beginning of my life that was research in tuberculosis.  We discovered the cure for tuberculosis which is still being used today. This cure was and is Isonazid, which is a "pill" that is marketed under other names by drug companies today.  Later I was involved in HLA and DNA research as well as research in Kidney Transplantation, which were all connected.  These were National and International Research programs that to me revealed a lot more than they probably did to other people that were involved in the programs, simply because I have always looked at life from a different perspective.

One of my intense drives to be a nurse was motivated by my seeing different energy fields around the bodies of different people, even as a very young child.  I have now learned that our energy is dramatically affected by our mind, emotions, and the chemical condition of our physical body, and at the time of death the energy of our Soul and Spirit is very visible as it leaves the body but hangs around outside of the dying body.  Once I understood how energy was reflected into and from our cells by multiple sources including our chemical and physical reality, I wanted to be involved in the RNA and DNA research to get one more image of how the energy supports us, so I became involved in the DNA research through an NIH program at NMRI.  I joined a research team which was defining the DNA (the chemical pattern of us) and how it worked to support or destroy organ transplantation, and I loved it because I could very clearly see the chemical patterns that give us "eternal life" as well as the chemical pattern of our current physical life.  I now understand that our creation of human life was a tremendous piece of "work" even as a chemical design of energy, which most of us don't really think about or appreciate, or we would eat only from the Organic foods of Nature, from which we were designed.

Once we can understand the chemical patterns of who we are, we can support our health in keeping our chemical patterns as pure as possible, and it gives us another concept of energy, especially our own internal energy that is always being created by what we eat, drink, and breathe.  Because I work with sick people, and many of these people have cancer or neurological disorders, I know how and what I am doing to release an energy "clogged" nervous system.  I have and I was born with a visual capacity that many people do not have.  This ability to see internally as well as externally has given me an appreciation for the human body that is beautiful and rewarding, and it has given me the gift of knowing and seeing energy.  My vision also helps me appreciate energy in other people and what it means to us in our health as human beings.  When people do not eat, drink, and breathe right, they do not have the same level of energy that they should have to keep themselves healthy and happy in their physical reality.  We get our energy from the chemicals that are found in the foods that we eat, the water that we drink, and the air that we breathe.

Energy is a misunderstood "concept" in our physical reality.  Our energy is produced by us and what we put in our mouth.  Our chemical design is what provides us with the energy of our physical life, which is why we must eat, drink, and breathe to live a healthy life. That will be my topic for tomorrow.  Goodbye. Kathy O.

Patterns of Eternal and Ethical Growth

Evolution is an Energy movement of Ethical Growth. If we are not living our Ethical Growth, we are not growing as a Spiritual human being. Ethical Growth is well defined in Spiritual Philosophy, and it is a continuous growth of our internal energy process that takes place in our thinking mind, loving emotions, and Spirit Senses as a singular inclusive mental and physical growth process that we live by living the entire scope of our Ethical Values as our daily lifestyle. Our continual growth process will always be reflected in our physical reality because we will change our energy from fear to love, we will change our lying to living truth, and we will recognize other people as equal to us. Once we can understand and live this level of Eternal Ethical Growth, we become different people by changing how we think, feel, and physically live as we relate to our family and friends.

Being love and living our love is the definition of being a Spiritual Being. We must learn and grow from our specific level of the physical energy that we are living to evolve into an energy level of Ethical Growth, which we are only capable of doing when we know ourselves as a  Spirit Consciousness energy being. We automatically grow into our physical form, but we do not automatically grow into an advancement of our thinking mind, loving emotions, and Spirit Senses. As we live our multiple lives, we will find that without our advancement as a Dual Soul Mind and Loving Emotions, we cannot grow and change in the level of our Spirit Consciousness Energy.

When we talk about the Soul and Spirit energy, we are talking about the energy of our internal Soul and Spirit Consciousness that we are designed to constantly expand, which is why we are living eternally through a continuation of each of our multiple physical lives as a Spirit Consciousness Energy. If we cannot live our physical, mental, and emotional expansion from one energy level to the next energy level of Spirit Consciousness, we cannot grow and change our physical behaviors and our thought processes, except on a physical level. At this point in time, we sincerely believe that the physical level of thinking, growth, and change are sufficient to open our thinking mind because the physical level of ourselves is all that we are open to accepting. When we find ourselves stuck in one physical level of thought and physical behavior, we are clearly showing ourselves that we have stopped moving and growing as an energy being and that we are resting on our laurels of being physical beings.

Spiritual Philosophy shows us the internal path of the expanding thinking mind, loving emotions, and sensory movement of our human energy design and the changes that we have been seeking to learn in the entirety of our energy design since we first became human beings living on Earth. The memory of Spiritual Philosophy is stored at our cellular level in our ancient memory and understanding usually at some vague level of the philosophy of life. Even Jesus studied Spiritual Philosophy, which was the basis of his teachings. We have lived countless lifetimes as human beings, which is the journey of our Dual Soul Evolution. Spiritual Philosophy is present in our ancient memory because we have lived many lifetimes with our memory of Spiritual Philosophy trying to expand our Spirit Consciousness through the pattern of our Ethical Value by showing us the relationship of our Spirit Energy to our physical thinking, emotions, and matter.

It is Spiritual Philosophy that helps us over the mountain tops of our ancient memory as we try to remember our ancient past, who we were, what we learned, and the difference that we will see in the “then and now” comparison of our thinking mind and loving emotions as we open the internal gates to our ancient memory.

When we believe that we live only one life, we cannot understand ourselves as eternal energy beings. Energy never dies but it does change form, which is the eternal pattern of energy that we live as we move from one physical life to another physical life, through our normal patterns of physical life and death.

We have lived endless volumes of our recorded history and it is never a challenge for us to look at our ancient human appearance in relationship to our human appearance today. As we have lived our countless lives we have streamlined our body, mind, and Spirit as a process of our growth and change. As we expand our thinking mind, we expand everything in our physical reality including our physical body and what it can do. This is what the word “evolution” means. As we have lived our countless lives, we have changed the way that our human mind thinks, how it relates to the heavens, Earth, and to each other, but most of all we have changed how we “see” ourselves as human beings, which has supported us in looking at ourselves to find the means of change that supports our growth.

Once we recognize that we are eternal beings as energy that create multiple physical lives for ourselves to live, all of the physical changes that we have lived begin to make sense. We must use what we know and begin to understand ourselves as eternal  human beings, and we must understand our relationship to the air, water, soil, Earth, and the “energy” that we live within our human body. We have been taught that we are physical human beings and we are, but what does it mean to be physical? It literally means that as physical human beings we must learn to understand ourselves as energy beings, take care of ourselves, and think in a different way if we want to live and enjoy our physical lives for longer periods of time from our energy potential. As human beings we are dependent upon Earth with its air, foods, and water to survive.  When we die young, we are missing the lessons of our physical life, which we must ultimately learn by living countless lives until we can "Know Thyself."

As we learn to think about ourselves as eternal beings, we begin to keep ourselves healthier, happier, and we keep our thinking mind open to change as a means of expanding our Spirit Consciousness as our eternal energy of life. Growth and change are always our personal responsibility. No one else can grow and change for us. If we study the design of the human body, the thinking mind, the loving emotions, and the Spirit Senses, we are studying Spiritual Philosophy as our pattern of creation, life, growth, and our eternal life as energy beings. This is an essential change of thinking for us to understand, if we want to know ourselves and the mystery of “disease” that is capturing our attention as it interferes with our health, our happiness, our life, and our Spiritual growth. We must look internally at our inherent energy design.  We do not have to be sick. We can live for hundreds, even thousands of years once we learn to change our belief systems and our thinking, clean up our environment, and protect our human body and mind from all foreign chemicals that are not a part of our human cellular design.

Our change begins one person at a time. We cannot live with our ancient beliefs and we cannot live in fear any longer and evolve as human beings. Our Spiritual Energy is designed as an eternal energy. Our physical energy is designed as a one-life-at-a-time energy. When we die we create a new physical energy that we call a human body. It is time that we begin to think about ourselves in a totally different way if we want to protect our human design, Earth and the space around us that we call home.

Learning to live our Ethical Values in how we eat, our relationship with family and friends, our relationship with ourselves, and our interaction with all people both young and old can help us, because with these changes we can learn to live our Ethical Values continuously, and we will become a more Spiritual and a healthier and happier physical human being. Our energy change and growth are always our personal responsibility. No one else can change for us because no one else can grow for us; therefore, the more we focus on the physical, the less we understand our internal and eternal energy.

Health Care - Our Body is begging us for nutrients!

Health Care is one of my favorite topics because I am a Registered Nurse with a very long life experience in caring for hospital patients, doing Nursing Administration, doing research on the HLA, DNA, and other types of medical research on diseases.  Quite frankly, as human beings we are forever creating our own personal health challenges by our thinking and behaviors, especially our eating, drinking, and breathing.  The foods that we eat and what we drink are frequently atrocious because they do not provide our physical body with the chemicals that our body specifically needs. We seem to have forgotten that we are all part of Nature.  Therefore when we make ourselves sick, we put ourselves into the position of  "needing to be saved."  In effect our body is begging us for the nutrients that it needs to heal itself so that it can continue to live and thrive as a human being.  Junk foods will not heal us because they do not provide the nutrients that we need to protect our body from disease.

Our focus on "needing to be saved" by the doctor is not very different than our "needing to be saved by Jesus." This is the moment in time when we all must look honestly at our own eating, drinking, and breathing habits and behaviors to help ourselves accept personal responsibility for what we are creating so we can accept the wisdom and activity of changing our life to be healthy and happy.  I work with individual clients, including those that are in the throes of disease, especially cancer/and or other "incurable" diseases.  I know that we can cure nearly any disease if we change our lifestyle soon enough and we release the body from its agony of starvation. I do not consider any disease incurable unless it has done so much damage to our body that we have destroyed some or one of our vital organs, which interferes with our physical life.  In 1989 I wrote the first of my eight books entitled, "The Joy of Health."  I suggest that everyone read this book and start saving money on your medical bills.

The truth is that most diseases can be healed, easily and simply with the right fresh healthy foods, pure water, and clean, fresh air.  Hospitals and doctors are not generally about health and happiness, they are about treating diseases with medicine and surgery.  Many Nurses and Nurse Practitioners care more about health and happiness than they do about medicine.  We are looking at our health care system in a very mixed up and expensive way, which we are all destined to pay for unless we learn to heal ourselves.  Medicine and health care are about diseased patients who need some immediate intervention.  Of course, diagnosis and treatment are another level of discovery.  Everyone needs to know what is making them sick.  After we learn the diagnosis, we can usually go a long way in building back our health and our happiness on our own.

Once we discover our diagnosis, we must learn how to regain and to maintain our health.  As patients we must be about our own  "personal health and happiness," which means we must learn how to eat right, drink pure water, and breathe only fresh air rather than deodorants out of a can, and we must keep our body and mind active.  Exercise, work outside, learn to open your windows and let fresh air into your homes, and we need to  think!  Many cancers are caused by a variety of sprays that are used in homes.  Open the windows of your home and let the fresh air re-calibrate the air in your home.  Once we learn to take care of ourselves with the fresh foods of Nature, pure spring water, and clean fresh air in our homes, we will find ourselves living with a new lease on a healthy life and an expanded happiness in our heart and in our relationships.

Health is always our personal responsibility and it has very little to do with medicine, which is focused on the "treatment of disease."   Our goal should always be to maintain our health into an old age so that we can enjoy the wisdom that we have all been looking for and soaking up as human beings.   We can all do this and find that happiness that we have been searching for as we live long and happy lives.

Cleaning up our health care industry. Prevention of disease versus treatment.

When I listen to people contributing all manner of ways to clean up the health care industry, it seems important to me that I contribute my life experiences as an R.N. since I worked my entire life in this profession.  When I began in nursing, we did not have the same conveniences that we have today in hospitals and I know how we relied on other concepts of health care that very few people pay adequate attention to today.  The very first issues in our human health are what we breathe, drink, eat, and expose ourselves to chemically.  First we must look at how we think because our thinking creates our behavior and behavior has become toxic to our health and it supports us in our other negative behaviors.  What we breathe, what we eat, and what and how we drink all play active roles in creating disease and/or keeping us healthy.

Years ago we did not have the same level of chemical contamination in our lives that we have today.  Today we breathe into and we feed our bodies multiple chemicals that act as contaminants in our cellular design which can and do trigger the creation of many diseases, especially in our lungs, liver, and blood stream as well as other organs, especially in the development of cancer.  The air, water, and foods that we expose ourselves to today should be as pure as we can find them to protect ourselves from disease. Pure air, water, and the pure foods of Nature serve to restore the chemical design of our human body.  This is why the air, water, and foods must be pure as we use them, or they alone act as contaminated chemicals which can contaminate our cellular design by not having the capability to support our health.  This helps us to see the process that we are using to destroy our own health. Years ago our foods came from pure soil, we drank pure water from underground sources, and we breathed the fresh air of Nature, which was consistently purified by the trees as a natural  purifier of air, but now our foods, water, and air are the source of our diseases because of their physical contamination.

We can change a huge portion of our human contamination by eating only organic foods, drinking only pure water from glass bottles, and keeping the air in our homes fresh by opening the windows rather than polluting our air with sprayed deodorant chemicals.  Small plastic bottles of water are being filled in different municipal water plants around our country and most of it has many chemicals added to it to act as water purifiers.  Water is essential to our health.  Spring water in glass bottles is much safer and healthier.  Cancer is a disease of the excesses of chemical contaminants and deficiencies of the pure chemicals that our human body needs to stay healthy.  When we fail to provide our human body with the chemicals that it must have to survive, then we begin to make ourselves sick without understanding what we are doing and how we are doing it.  Changing our smoking habits, eating habits, the water that we drink, and our current use of  sprayed contaminants in the air of our living space, can play an enormous role in keeping us healthy.  Health should be the goal of every human being because health gives us a greater enjoyment of life and living.  As we learn to prevent our own diseases, we will help to clean up the health care industry, which is very broken.

Health and Happiness

My earliest memories as a child was my intense desire to become a nurse and how I felt about nursing.  As a first year nursing student I was observing one day in the operating room.  The surgeon cut a very large nerve and I screamed.  He turned around and shouted at me, ........."what is wrong with you?"  my answer was, "You cut a nerve."  I have never to this day gotten over his response, because he shouted at me that nerves were simply strings that were like the strings that hold packages together.  Even in 1948 there was already enough information about the nervous system  to know that nerves did not represent the strings that hold packages together.  How did I know that he was ignorant?  All of my life I have had a dramatic affinity for the nervous system that in my mind makes us human, besides that I was in nursing school because I had healed my nerves following rheumatic fever.

One of my favorite people in history has always been "John Newport Langley, PHD"  Dr. Langley was a "nerve" researcher in England and in my estimation he knew the nerves better than any human including the present Doctor's of today.  As a child with rheumatic fever, I learned a lot about my nerves and the pain that was common in the nerves with rheumatic fever.  In childhood my goal was to become a registered nurse when I grew "big."  Even a child can understand that you have to walk to be a nurse, and to walk you have to use the nerves in your legs as well as in the rest of your body and that you need to use your nerves without intense pain.  This information helped me to stay very active throughout my life and the more active I was, the less pain I experienced from my rheumatic fever.   My parents would always tell me that I had to heal myself, because we already had learned that medicine was of no help with the pain from rheumatic fever or with the rheumatic fever itself.

Therefore, even though I was a freshman nursing student when the surgeon screamed at me, I knew that he did not know as much about the nervous system as I knew.  I went through the long nursing program without missing any time despite my pain, and I learned along the way that exercise is probably better for the nerves than it is the muscles, especially when you have rheumatic fever.  Thankfully rheumatic fever is no longer the "scrooge" that it was in my youth because of penicillin, but I have found the information that I learned from living this disease invaluable in my understanding of the Nervous System.  What I taught myself as I was living with rheumatic fever I continue to use today to restore health in other people.

The Nightingale Initiative - How Do We Take Care of Ourselves?

The Nightingale Initiative is returning our physical focus to an understanding of our personal health and healing internally as a human species. Florence Nightingale has been accepted as the “first Nurse” of our society. But for the past fifty + years, we have not been focused on health and healing, we have been focused on “medical care.” Medical care is important to our health but it has to be a partnership between us and the health care system. Individual health and healing are focused on “self care” not “medical care.” Medicine has become addicted to the concept of drugs, not health.

When we focus constantly on our own human health, we think positive thoughts, we live truth, we eat from the organic foods of Nature to support our cellular health, and we love ourselves and other people as a positive and supportive energy. Many people do not realize that we are chemical energy beings, and that we must keep our chemical energy balanced by what we eat, drink, breathe, and think. We can never be healthy when our thinking mind is focused on fear.

How do we take care of ourselves? Hour by hour, day by day, year by year we must focus on what we think, eat, drink, and breathe to keep ourselves healthy internally as our chemical design? Health is always our very individual personal responsibility. No one can think, eat, drink, breathe, or sleep for us. Years ago health was seen as being synonymous with our daily lifestyle. This continues to be the truth of our health, but unfortunately we do not accept personal responsibility for how we think, breathe, sleep, or eat anymore. We have attempted to pass our concepts of health to the medical community. We have become “junkies,” as we make the medical community responsible for our health. We buy junk foods as fast foods as they appear on the store shelves, and we do not usually stop and think about how we are abusing ourselves by living through the power of consumerism and television ads.

As human beings we are designed from the air, soil, and water of Nature and Earth. The time has come for us to “eat from a pure Nature, drink from a pure Nature, and breathe from a pure Nature once again, if it is our intention to restore our health and happiness. We should all be living much longer than we are currently living. One major disease that is directly related to what we eat, drink, and breathe is cancer. The other primary influence on developing cancer is our thinking mind. Negative thinking, anger, fear, and negligence are all part of creating cancer. Cancer is now thriving in epidemic proportions in our human society. We can never live a lie and be healthy, because the lie will “eat” away at our physical body. Cancer infects people today in all age groups. What we eat, drink, and breathe either makes us sick or supports us in staying healthy. Eating, drinking, and breathing are all inclusively our personal choice.

It is time for us to look carefully at ourselves. Who do we want to be? Do we want to live long and happy lives or do we want to experience the lesson of “free choice” and live disease? My first book, which I wrote in 1989, is all about “The Joy of Health” which will also be the focus of my classes this year. As human beings it is our personal responsibility to learn how to keep ourselves healthy, happy, and productive in learning the truth of who we are as the essence of our life. Learning is a major part of our health and it should be part of our health care. People do not know how to change if they do not understand themselves and how change opens the doors of our mind, emotions, and senses to bigger and greater opportunities in life and living.

Staying healthy and happy as human beings is a major part of the Nightingale Initiative as it was defined by Florence Nightingale years ago. Florence Nightingale is being honored today as the creator of living a healthy lifestyle with the Nightingale Initiative. In our society, we have a belief that “all food is good food,” which is definitely an erroneous belief that supports us in making ourselves sick as we eat multiple types of foods prepared in multiple styles. Never forget that eating organic raw foods in a fresh state is truly supporting our health and happiness. Root vegetables that are grown in healthy soil will provide us with many of the nutrients that we need.

Organically grown foods are healthier than foods grown from manmade chemicals. Foods lose a large portion of their chemical design when they are shipped across the country and not stored properly. When foods are not grown organically, they can be hazardous to our health. Prepare your soil properly and grow your own garden of fresh foods. Eating healthy foods is our best medicine and when we eat well, breathe pure air, think happy thoughts, laugh, and drink pure water, we will have found a recipe for health. Many manufactured home products, drinks, and foods are hazardous to our health.

No Price Tag on Our Health and Happiness!

I lived my entire life on the same farm, and I still considered that piece of land "home" until my parents died and the land was sold. When I finished nursing school in 1951, I moved to Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. in 1951 was a very different town than it is today. I had a younger sister living there and I wanted very much to go live with her. We were very close, but my school and her work had put us in very different areas of the country and I wanted to spend some time with her. As my years of school came to a close, I began to make my plans to live with my sister. At that time I was passionate about medical research, so before I moved from Indiana I accepted a nursing position at D.C. General Hospital in the Tuberculosis Building which was actively doing multiple forms of research. I had been at D.C. General less than a year when we discovered the perfect treatment for tuberculosis, which healed the disease very quickly, and it is still the drug of choice today.

My sister, her friend and I moved from Washington, D.C. into a house in Arlington Forest in Arlington, Virginia. This was one of the first areas of Arlington that was being developed. It was a community of two-story brick houses just across the D.C. line, where we settled in to enjoy our lives, our freedom, and our successes. We had a wonderful year of working, dating, going places together, and being together, and then I got married. Marriage was an interesting challenge for me because I was not used to control, and suddenly I found myself being told what to do and when to do it, and my new husband did not appreciate my focus on tuberculosis research or my working at D.C. General Hospital. Gradually he wore me down and I left D.C. General Hospital and went to work at the Yater Clinic.

In the long run this was a perfect move, because working for Wallace Yater, M.D. was a dramatic gift to myself that I had no idea could happen. I knew him by reputation only when I went to work in his clinic. With my first meeting with Wallace Yater,I was struck by his gentleness, kindness, and his wisdom, which created a dramatic energy field around him. As I watched him work with "very important people" in the concept of our human reality, I was aware of his wisdom, his love, his utmost consideration of all human beings, and his total expertise as a physician.

It was after I started working for Wallace Yater that I realized he had written the "medical book" that was being studied by many medical students. To this day I cherish this medical book that he wrote and I use it to keep my mind fresh on many medical subjects. Wallace Yater had a wide following of patients, and as I started working in the Yater Clinic in Washington, D.C. I was always amazed at the steady influx of diplomats, movie stars, and "important people" that were his clients and that would fly halfway across the world to see him. His personality never changed in my presence. He was always calm, polite, brilliant, and considerate of other people. I have found his medical writings to be as important today as they were fifty years ago, and if they were followed more carefully by today's medical profession, perhaps we would have fewer problems healing diseases, and we would not create as many diseases as confront our human population today. As I remember, Dr. Yater had brilliant physicians working in his clinic and people came from all over the world to see him and his team of specialists.

As a young R.N., I felt very honored to work with these seasoned and intelligent men and women. When I began having children, I always took my children to the pediatrician that I loved so much at the Yater Clinic, whose name was Dr. Catherine Knop. I raised healthy children, and they have all done well in the world today. I do believe that getting off to a healthy start physically, mentally, and emotionally is like money in the bank for us as human beings. We cannot put a price tag on our health or happiness.

I left Yater Clinic to have my first child, but during my child-bearing years and my six children, I always took my children to the Yater Clinic to be seen because I trusted these physicians explicitly, and they were worthy of my trust. The pediatrician that I used for my six children was Dr. Catherine Knop, and she was also the best and brightest pediatrician that I have ever met. To make a long story short, after you have had the best medical care in the country, anything less than what you are used to falls rather flat in your mind and it may never reach your heart. Reaching the heart of a client does not appear to be the intention of our current medical community. Sometimes in my "musings," I wonder how many of today's physicians have studied the medical book written by Wallace Yater? I have his book and I have consistently used it as a reference in my life. I can see him and "feel" his energy when I think about him. Many times I have been given very important answers to my medical questions from his energy field. This is where I learned the reality of medicine and what it means on a personal basis.

In The Beginning

When I was still seventeen I left Salem (Illinois) to go to nursing school in Indianapolis, Indiana. I don’t remember how many miles there were between home and school, but I do know that in 1948 no one jumped in their cars and started off on long joy rides just for the sake of riding on the roads. Route 50, specifically, was pretty terrible between Salem and Indianapolis in 1948, so my trips home during the three years that I was in nursing school were infrequent. My father and my brother-in-law were given the responsibility of coming after me, so I was driven home and returned by car on every trip. At that time my father was still working building houses for the influx of employees of The Texas Company, which was the major oil company in town.

We lived on a farm about seven miles outside of the town of Salem. When the oil fields were being put down we could read a newspaper outside late at night from the light of the oil field flares. This was a very interesting situation to experience after living in the darkness of night for so many years. We did not yet have electricity when the oil fields were being created. We had not yet been designated as an area that had enough human beings living in it to make electricity a money-making project, so we had to wait our turn which was pretty much at the end of the line. My parents did get electricity about late 1950, but I was still at school. This putting in of the electricity had my parents so excited that they called and told me they were coming to get me and bring me home for the weekend. Their surprise for me was the electricity, which of course they loved and so did I because they deserved this modern convenience, and also the convenience of the indoor bathroom that they had built. Most of all, I was excited because I could read at night after everyone else was asleep.

Somehow electricity made me less worried about my parents when I returned to school after that trip home and I felt the change in myself and my academic concentration. When we stop worrying, we can think better and focus more carefully on what we are doing, which I experienced and which I continue to appreciate today. I have had ample opportunities to experience life in the dark and life with light all around me. Living in the country itself was a marvelous experience that I will never forget. When you do not have central lighting in your house, you find yourself staying in closer groups and doing things that you might not do any other time.  Sometimes the moon would light our way.

I was extremely close to my father and I loved to hear his stories about baseball, the army, how he spent his time in France when his leg was too “sick” for the army to put him on a ship to come home. It was my father’s stories about the “coffee houses” in France and how they talked about philosophy that triggered my interest in philosophy as a child. For some reason, which was probably their lack of interest, my father talked to me more about Spiritual Philosophy as he had learned it than he did with my sisters. Later as I got older, I went to work in town in a local drugstore. I made the trips to and from the drugstore with my father as he went to work and came home from work, which was a perfect time for me to listen to his stories. These were wonderful years for me where my father and I could talk consistently about the things that he had learned when he was wounded in the Army and was living in France. He always told me not to share our conversations with the rest of the family because they were religious and we were discussing Spiritual Philosophy as he had learned it, and I never have until this moment in time revealed any of our communication. Now I hope they are open to understanding as I reveal my life and thinking during my early years that have so intensely shaped my later years in life.

What is the Secret of Life?

The secret of life is always energy. We are energy! Energy is eternal. As humans we are energy, therefore we are eternal. With each physical life we have an intention of learning. As we learn, we grow and change as energy beings. If we simply look at ourselves, we can see ourselves growing from birth until death. When we think that we are simply physical beings, we miss the entire concept of being eternal beings. Learning is a method of expanding our eternal energy. When we learn more about ourselves as energy beings, we learn how to live longer as physical beings. Our progress of growth must be lived in our physical lives, which allows us to take advantage of our accumulative growth of energy in our successive lifetimes. As Spiritual Energy we live eternally through multiple physical lives. Knowing who we are gives us the impetus to learn more about ourselves as energy beings so that we can have a stronger hand in our future lifetimes as well as our present lifetime. What we know helps us to channel our thinking into more growth energy, which is an eternal gift to ourselves.
